Lap activity pillow

by Lucy
(La Porte IN)

I made an activity pillow 17"×17" by making a removable pillow cover out of out door fabric dark red with anchors and lifesaver pattern.

I sewed fabric swatches of different textures, colorful piece of rope with a knot in center, heart shaped bean bag, colorful and bling buttons on the cover bean bag toy etc for lap activities.

This pillow keeps my mothers hands and focus on the items on pillow and less on trying to get out of chair. She also seems calmer since. She has a padded half tray on wheelchair to rest it on.
